Navigation platform bearings can be divided into marine navigation platform bearings, rocket navigation platform bearings and missile navigation platform bearings. Bearings are required to have long life (more than 10 years), high precision, high reliability, corrosion resistance, and withstand certain vibration and impact loads. When the bearing works under low speed or swing conditions, the working or storage temperature is -40℃~+80℃.

The selection of bearings generally requires that the fixed end bearing is an angular contact ball bearing, and the floating end bearing is an angular contact ball bearing or a deep groove ball bearing. The bearings are generally selected from the thin-walled light series, and the lubrication is achieved by the bearing itself, which is generally a one-time lubrication. The bearing friction torque is required to be small and uniform, and its friction coefficient is about 0.0015. In terms of bearing pairing, in order to ensure the consistency of bearing performance, the contact angle difference between the paired bearings is required to be less than 0.5°, the difference between the inner and outer diameters of the bearings is less than 2μm, and the bearing stiffness is close. In terms of bearing installation, the paired bearings are installed with preloads. The bearing preload is generally determined according to the quality of the navigation platform and the requirements for the stiffness of the bearing.
